Just as I am

 I am a sinner saved by faith given to me through Christ Jesus. I was dead in my sins but now I am alive in Christ. Oh what love is this that He should die that I might live.  I didn't do anything to deserve His grace. It is only because of Him that I now live for Him.  It is all Christ in me.

 I know because of His Word, a dead person needs to be given the faith so that he or she may live. A dead person cannot by themselves muster up the strength to "have faith" because they are dead.  We do not comprehend how dire are situation was/is even after we are saved. Yet by the radical grace of God we have eternal life. 

"For I know whom I have believed, and I am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day."- 2 Timothy 1:12
